Fantastic patina and in excellent, solid condition. Fantastic patina that only years of gentle wear can create. This is a jacket with a unique appearance. It has popular cinch-buckles at the waist. We believe it is a light-medium weight horsehide. Smooth-sliding brass Talon main zipper. Very nice sharkskin lining in superb shape with a useful interior leather-trimmed pocket. Beautiful, wearable, collectable American classic. Known variously as motorcycle, biker, or trucker coats, car coats, sport coats or jackets. Size is not tagged - so we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. Please follow these measurements and email if any questions. very rare true vintage 1950s white motorcycle leather jacket. It has had a new lining put in at some point so I have no idea what brand it is. grrrrrr. Ive looked all around the web and asked everybody I know if they had a clue. Knowbody knows. Do you? The jacket is in great shape. No cuts or holes in the leather or seam. The front zipper needs repair. See photo. there is a small rip at the bottom. The rest of the zipper is fine. The front zipper has the lines on it. All the other zippers say CORT. The inside lining is in excellent condition and the sleeves are also lined. Meas. across chest 22″. length 26″. shoulders 19.5″. arms 24.5″. I stand 5 feet 8 inches 160 lbs. scroll down for item description a classic black leather biker jacket. it features an extra chunky heavy duty YKK metal zip front fastening with matching metal zips on all the pockets and cuffs, adjustable buckled belt at the hem to adjust the waist size, black quilted lining, 2 inside pockets, small change front pocket, epaulets on the shoulders, plus large collar and lapels. i’d say the size of the jacket is an extra extra large 48 inch chest and the size tag says 48 but please check all my measurements carefully before bidding. i take all the measurements with the jacket lying flat on the floor so if you’re still unsure, compare my measurements in the same way to those of a peice of clothing you already have. don’t forget that this is a thick and heavy leather jacket though. there’s a tear in the lining for the left hand side pocket, but it should be an easy repair if required. there’s some loose stitches and some sagging to the lining, but there’s no damage and it’s all intact. there’s a genuine worn look to the leather, with the odd small scuff here and there, but there’s no real damage and it’s quite supple and nicely broken-in, so it only adds to the vintage feel. apart from that, this jacket is in excellent condition with no other rips, marks, stains or dodgy smells. MEASUREMENTS CHEST – 24.5 inches/62.5cm (pit to pit) SLEEVES – 25.5 inches/65cm (shoulder seam to cuff) LENGTH – 27 inches/69cm (back of collar to hem) SHOULDERS – 24 inches/61.5cm (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) is this not the exact size or style your after? then please check out my other items for loads more cool vintage clothing! hover over thumb nails to enlarge
